What Every College Student Should Know

Just because you live right next to a public (floor) restroom does not mean you should walk barefoot in it. It’s no different than walking around in some nasty ass gas station bathroom. Don’t do it!

If you use Febreze, it means something is not clean. Febreze does not clean, nor does it make something smell clean, try Tide.

Playing your music so loud that everyone can hear it is not cool. Ask any of your neighbors and they will hate you for it.

Don’t bother trying to change someone’s mind about politics. It will only end up in a contest of who can talk louder.

Stealing someone’s towel while they’re in the shower will only be the beginning of a terrible war. Be prepared for wet clothes, sticky door knobs, and every prank in the book.

No matter where you go, you will always have the cocky high school football player in your proximity. Don’t worry though, it’s not high school anymore.

The half cologne, half body odor, half alcohol musk coming from your room not only makes paint peel, it tells anyone walking by to stay away.

4 Reasons Why I’m Done with Digg

Are Free Link Exchanges Good For Your Site?

April 6th, 2008 | 1 Comment | Posted in uncategorized

Being an avid blog reader I started noticing “free link exchanges” on some of my favorite blogs. Free link exchanges have become more popular because it promotes your site for free. I decided to try out the SPOTTT link exchange service and I was pretty happy with it, at first.

I was getting a few links back to my site, but it wasn’t anyone that was going to come back again. One of my goals this year was to generate some readers and the link exchange isn’t going to do that. Having the link exchange on my site wasn’t that big of a deal until I started seeing what links where showing up on my site.

Refreshing my site about a dozen times I had four links that were questionable. The SPOTTT terms of service says no “adult” links, but these ones are sure adult-ish.

I don’t think having these links show up on my site it alright. It makes my blog look trashy and that’s no good for bringing in new readers. I want the readers to way in so I have set up a poll. What do you think?
