Cnet Buys Revision3 for $57 Million [Update]

Revision3_bought

The popular internet media provider, Revision3, has been bought by Cnet for $57 million. Revision3 produces more than a dozen shows including Diggnation, The Totally Rad Show, and Tekzilla. The network includes an all-star list of hosts many of them from the TechTV network. What will this mean for Revision3? Cnet hasn’t been the most innovative company in the past years, but with a fresh new set of shows under their belt, things may change. We can only hope that Cnet will keep Revision3 working independently instead of being integrated into the Cnet site.

Update: Revision3 is not being bought by CNET. We can all put down our pitchforks and go home (to watch some Diggnation).
