Having Fun With Spammers

Are you tired of getting spam in you inbox? Me too. To vent this frustration I have started to have my fun with these Internet annoyances. The most amusing type of spam is the ones involving a “large sum” of money that is needed to be “transferred” to help save someone’s life threatening illness. I’ve gotten a similar email…and I wanted to have some fun:
This is the original message I received from Dr. Kevin Egwu. How authentic

This is my response with all my personal information. The doctor had me send it to the “Clerical Dept,” which sounds quite professional. I’m irritated, the doctor did ask for a social security number.

I wasn’t expecting to get a response back. (Come on, I said my name was Chuck Norris and my phone number’s the Goog411 number.) BUT a couple days later I got this:

I can’t wait to see what the “Mr. Apkam Odinka” will send me next. Maybe I’ll get the $850.000.000 he promised.

Brilliant, I’ve been tempted to do likewise but never did.
Keep us posted as to what happens next.. I guess however, if you do get the money this will be the last we see of you..LOLOLOL

Hehe – Laughing at them is about the best thing you can do if you can’t personally knock those annoying spammers off the net. I haven’t posted to my blog which is just the place for doing that, because I’ve been lucky enough not to get much spam lately, and those I’ve gotten I’ve just been too busy to take the time to publically trash. Some of these spammers can really sound like idiots, and it’s even funnier doing everything possible to show that up. Lol

It’s really fun to mess with these guys. I have also found it fun to fwd spam to other spammers.
