Youtube Better Off Not of Being Bought?
Youtube is one of the most popular website on the internet and if you live on earth you saw that they were purchased by Google for almost 2 billion dollars, but was it right?
When Youtube was just another web startup they were in major need of money and lawyers. They were always being hounded by television and other media companies because their content was on Youtube, but you know what Youtube did about it…nothing. There were so many videos of Naruto and The Office that the Youtube staff had not a chance, so the video stayed there for people (users) to enjoy.
With the Google acquisition, Youtube had changed and in my opinion not for the better. I started noticing on a lot of the video I had posted on a past blog now displayed “this video is no longer available.” Now, what will happen to Youtube when all of the television companies are done with it, it won’t nearly be as popular as it once was and/or could of been.
Now that Google owns Youtube everyone has a reason to attack them and that is why I believe they should of never sold. They should of gone all out in a blaze of glory until the site had been taken down. Then the next “Youtube” could rise up and do it again. Youtube has officially been tamed.
